Dispensary: Fad Budโs Weed Shop
Rating: 4.6 leaves
At first look I was a bit suspicious of the Cherry Wine CBD bud from Fat Budโs Weed Shop. The bud itself looks like a throwback to the weed of pre-legalization days and the initial whiffs are reminiscent of a tobacco odor. However, once the bud is broken up and ground it is quite sticky and fragrant with a fruity, woody and spicy aromaโreminiscent of the smell in the air of a New England crisp autumn day.
The taste itself is deep, inviting and comforting, with elements of forest berries, pine, wood, tobacco and mint. A flavor which the user will yearn to return to over and over.
The effects of Cherry Wine are an initial relaxation and calmness in the body coupled with a warm, enveloping happiness and clarity of the mind. There is no real high with this strain, however at some points users may feel a hint or shadow of a gentle highness. As the effects develop, the user will experience an even deeper calm relaxation feeling to the point of napping (but not a complete slumber). Indeed, your dedicated correspondent relaxed with a cup of mint tea and a documentary and slowly and peacefully drifted into a nap, only to be woken up soaked in an overturned cup of tea.
Cherry Wine is a solid strain which can hold a unique place in a userโs rotation. It is clean, delicious, fragrant and completely chill. There is barely a highโbut there really is so much more to weed than just getting high. Cherry Wine is a rich strain unto itself and will be appreciated by those users who look for all the depth and character of a high-quality bud, without the effects of being high. I cannot stress enough the therapeutic and enjoyable qualities of high quality CBD. This is something I have come to late in my cannabis journey, but it is something I will continue to explore. Cherry Wine will hold a special place on that journey.
