El Patron was rolled up in joint form for me at Blaze dispensary. I had heard about this strain for a while and was happy to see it available. I was not disappointed.
The bud has earthy and piney odors and an earthy, sweet and smooth flavor. It is an easy strain to smoke and will leave the user (at least this user) wanting more at the conclusion of the joint. The effects are that of a working flower: energy, engagement, clarity and motivation which is coupled with a pleasant tingling in the body. El Patron evidences some of the best qualities of both sativas and indicas and is an awesome day time bud.
I highly recommend El Patron for any user who wants to get to work with the aid of cannabis. I smoked the joint while interviewing Blaze’s management and also taking calls. My mind was stimulated and focused and at the same time I was content and happy. El Patron is the ultimate working strain. I do not think I would use it at night or for social occasions—but I would definitely light up again for the purposes of writing.
