There is something thrilling and exciting about a high quality bud. Tropical Thunder’s Popscotti brings that thrill. The bud is dense and springy, a classic dark green with light dusting at the top with tons of orange green hairs. It really is a thing of beauty. In my youth, in my wildest dreams, I never dared to hope for something so beautiful—and yet here it is available for us all.
The bud has an essence of sour fruits, vanilla and a bit of gas. Its taste is of vanilla custards with a floral finish. A delicious dessert strain, Popscotti comes on with a heady and somewhat engaged effect which will leave the user ready to dive in thoughtful conversation—this does not last very long. In fact, the initial engaged and somewhat creative thoughtful process melts deep into a giggly, relaxing and happy but lazy high. I smoked a rather large joint at my neighbors, my mood went from active engagement in conversation, to a quiet chill where I listened to everyone’s thoughts, to finally excusing myself so I could blissfully listen to a podcast in bed and enjoy my wife’s company. I should point out that though Popscotti will eventually lull its user to bed—it still stimulates all the senses making life so much more enjoyable.
Popscotti is most appropriate for experienced users. The initial engaged feeling is a bit of a curve ball which may throw novice users off but will thrill experienced users. It still may be appropriate as a stepping stone for novice users—as long as they use the bud in moderation.
