Grower: Terpie Garden
Rating: 4.5
A dear friend and cannabis enthusiast was in Bangkok for one night as he was returning to Europe. I have been signing the praises of Thai cannabis to him for a while and made sure he would take the time to sit down and enjoy a strain of my choosing. I had two choices, go with a sure thing of a bud I have already triedโor take a chance and try a new strain. Doubling back to an old strain means that I miss the opportunity to try something newโI decided to trust my nose and confidence in Thai growers and picked Pink Cotton Candy from Terpie Garden. I was not disappointed.
Pink Cotton Candy is appropriately named and has sweet candy aromas. When ground hints of sour sweet fruit, along the lines of pineapple, come out. The flavor is sweet, fruity with hints of vanilla.ย Both the flavor and aromas where sweet, strong, delicious, and bright. This met my (high) expectations for Terpie Gardenโmy buddy was blown away.ย
The high was light and flighty, happy, engaged and alert. My senses were awakened and I was incredibly hungry. My buddy and I went through two hours of discussions solving all the worldโs problems. At the conclusion of our session I announced that we had to go to 7-11 to get some munchies. My buddy simply replied, โI donโt think I can get out of my chair.โ Evidence that different folks have different experiences. I did move on and ate a package of durian chips and then chocolate, before sleeping soundly through the nightโmy buddy passed out and woke up just in time to make a 2PM flight. We were both happy with our respective experiences.
I would recommend Pink Cotton Candy for either novice or experienced users, especially someone who wants a super sweet dessert strain. I found that the bud was strong enough to be interesting but not strong enough to be debilitating. Novice users should still approach the strain in moderation.ย
