Grower: Canis Major
Rating: 4.7
For the second week in a row I’ve smoked a Canis bud and thought to myself, this bud, more than anything else, just smells and tastes like a Canis bud. Exotic is a strain which might as well be called “Canis Major”. The bud has all the aesthetic pleasing characteristics of an elite bud, dusty, plump, springy, multi-colored, expertly manicured. Its odor is fruity sweet—as opposed to candy sweet—with strong notes of oranges, strawberries, cherries, and grapes all coming through. After grinding, the bud emits a sweet sour muskiness, similar to the aroma of a luxury European perfume of another era. The flavor of Exotic is delicious, with an initial sweet forest berry and cherry twizzler taste which gets progressively gets herbier and minty concluding in a spiced anise taste. This anise/licorice taste is something I am only getting on Canis buds right now—I absolutely love it.
Exotic has perhaps the best high I have had off a Canis bud. From the get-go the effects are super euphoric with lots of giggling and laughing, a soaring feel good high accompanied by relaxed body washed away of stress. The mind is spacey and dreamy, but extra perceptive, thoughtful, profound, almost tapping into another dimension. Time slows down and the mind blissfully wanders leaving the user in the most content of moods.
I highly recommend Exotic to all users. Experienced users are in for a real treat with this one—the flavors and aromas are classic Canis and the high is just so happy and profound. Novice users should use the bud sparingly, but while this bud is strong it is not overwhelming. Novice users should keep in mind that they will be launched into a euphoric flight. The best thing to do is accept the journey, let it take you where you need to go. You’re in good hands. Enjoy.
