Grower: Thai Kush

I picked Apple Fritter because of its strong herbal, earthy and sweet tones with a mild but significant sour chemical apple aroma. On this particular evening the odors called out to me. The flavors are similar to  what I imagine an herbal massage ball tastes like: herby, menthol, spicy with a sweet, sour earthy clove finish. Wrap these flavors and odors into a pretty, springy, bud and you have a flower which delights the senses. Indeed, I happily smoked two half gram Js over the evening.

The high starts off with strong pressure in the head which seems to debilitate everything and signal that a heavy stoned experience is ahead. But instead of disengaging the user, the high tapers off, pulling back to reveal a relaxed, happy, fun, and completely manageable effect. Sparking the bud again does bring the user back into that initial stoned but temporary feeling.

The initial strong effects are surprising and may be too much for novice users to understand and accept. Experienced users will roll with it and then move into the more clear and euphoric high happily. The swing from brain dead stoned to euphoric giddiness is a bit of a weird high and trip—but it is a fun experience.
