“Here take a nugget for the road.” At a recent random run in with Dr. Green at Pizza Pala I left holding a giant, beautiful, bohemian bud of Gorilla Cookies with an enticing natural and wild look to it. This bud has an alluring old school nutty, herby, earthy sweet and slightly spiced smell. A matching flavor with a dominant earthy and nutty taste.
Gorilla Cookies’s high starts off with soaring euphoria, elation, happiness and is very reminiscent of Gorilla Glue, quickly getting deep into the body with strong muscle relaxation and a slowdown in the brain. I smoked the bud to counter the resulting back pain from a full weekend of carrying baby Mendel around Bangkok. The bud did indeed relax the muscles—this motivated me to try to stretch my body out with some basic yoga. I made it through a 15 minute routine over 40 minutes and then fell asleep on my carpet for a good hour. I woke up, finished a half pint of ice cream, drank a cup of mint tea, and happily went back to sleep.
Gorilla Cookies is therapeutic and highly recommend it for experienced users and for novice users who are guided along the way (do not use it alone). The bud is strong, it lifts the spirits and relaxes the body. It is not productive but cleansing of stress and pain. It is a wonderful bud to conclude a long tough day (or weekend).
