Mai Tai comes through with a thoroughly classic odor. And I say this with the utmost respect and appreciation for the classics. The aroma, slightly sweet, nutty, with an old school citrus herby to it, will take any Gen X toker down memory lane. Its smoke is earthy and herby with faint evidence of the sour citrus from the odor.
Mai Tai’s high is quite excellent. I smoked a fairly generous J—and finished it faster than normal. My initial thoughts were, ok, I feel pretty good, happy, spacey, but I should have smoked more. Fifteen minutes later I was chilling on my couch with a smile on my face, body fully relaxed, mind at ease and stress free, happy as a clam and hungry (I ate half of Baby Mendel’s prepared dragon fruit—my apologies my beloved son if you are reading this in the distant future).
Mai Tai is highly recommended for experienced users. It has a great odor, a pleasant flavor and super relaxing high. It is strong, but not overwhelming or incapacitating. It may be appropriate for novice users in small quantities—but beware, the high takes a bit of time to set in, but when it does it is blissful.
