Warp’s Animal Runtz are small dense, verdant, and super aromatic buds. As Mrs. Mendel put it, “it just hits your nose with a heavy and strong sour smell.” The aroma is indeed sour, with candy sweet and peppery secondary odors that tickles the nose and finish with delightful herby accents. The odor very much smells like Runtz mixed with some old school OG Kush. Animal Runtz flavor is delicious with layers of lavender, herbs, and sweet cherry. A more adult flavor that most other Runtz I have sampled.
Animal Runtz is strong, leaving the user on the cusp of being stoned but never crossing that threshold. Brain numbing but not incapacitating. Physically limiting but with some functionality. Stress melts away but thoughts remain. I smoked this bud after the particularly stressful ordeal of exiting Israel and it helped manage that stress. I suspect that in any other situation the bud would have also been euphoric—but for me it was blissfully mind-numbing.
I highly recommend Animal Runtz to experienced users. This is a beautiful bud from a flavor, aroma and high point of view. It is adult, profound and sophisticated. But it is too developed and complicated for novice users. This bud requires a bit of education to be fully appreciated.
