Grower: Thai Sticky Crew
Rating: 4.5
Mimozz is the last of a generous bounty of samples Thai Sticky Crew sent me. It’s evident that these guys know how to grow. Their Mimozz, a pale yellow green long and thin bud covered in dusting and orange hairs, may be their most pungent bud. Aromas of overripe oranges and mango—perhaps fruits at a buffet left out in the sun—come on super loud. Its stickiness, a dank reminder, maintains the odor on the consumer’s fingers. Its flavor, orange and honey, does justice to the dankness of its odor.
Mimozz has a great working high. The bud is engaging, happy and chill. Excellent for collaboration especially in stressful environments where the bud neutralizes unnecessary anxiety and angst, allowing the consumer to focus (giddily and with a good nature) on the big picture. My notes state that Mimozz made me a bit lazy—but I achieved an incredible amount of work in the time I was under its influence. Productive laziness, perhaps?
I highly recommend Mimozz to fans of orange flavored buds (I personally have had my fill of this flavor profile). There is not much separation for me between Mimozz and Emergen-C—I assume they have similar lineage. The utilitarian high is also similar and should be utilized by consumers on the go. The high may be a bit strong for novice consumers—to this end I recommend they use the bud in moderation. Experienced consumers will know what they have in their hands the second they take one whiff.
