If you are a fan of dynamic cannabis—you should follow Green Space. Like other top growers in Thailand, these guys are still finding their legs, experimenting with their art, making those little changes from one grow to another and studying their results and consumer’s reactions. They have sent me (excellent) samples of buds with the specific request that I never review them publicly, but with the intent of showing their process. I appreciate that. Malasaña Cookies is the first of this current crop and is an excellent starting point in the world of Green Space. This dense crystally bud is a dusted yellow green with reddish orange hairs. A true beauty with a captivating essence of lemons, herbs, nuts and earthiness—capturing both classic aromas but in a more modern package. The flavor is less layered than the aroma with a lemon earthiness—and a lasting citrus aftertaste.
Malasaña Cookies has a fun and misdirectional high. The effects begin with a stimulated wakening, a lightness in the body and in step, but becomes more and more a giddy relaxed, floating, and dreamy high. Malasaña Cookies may give the false confidence of creativity and capability—but the reality is silly and enjoyable ineptitude. The bud is strong—and while the high is a bit of a trip in itself, the ultimate result is couch lock and sleep.
I highly recommend Malasaña Cookies to experienced consumers. The aromas, the quality of the bud and the high are all excellent and enjoyable. The bud is quite strong, but I would recommend that novice consumers engage in limited and moderate experimentation with the bud—the classic flavors and aromas are an excellent lesson in key cannabis notes.
