After chasing my 2 year old around the apartment (and a 9 day stint in Japan) I need something good that would put my mind at ease and let me unwind from the day. Knowing that Zookies Cookies has GG4 in its lineage—I pulled this plump green, yellow, orange asteroid of a nugget out of its packaging and ground it up for some much need medical relief. The aromas on this one are a bit more subtle, menthol, pine, nuts—a hint of kerosene on the dry pull. The flavors are delicious, smooth, well rounded: nutty over cooked cookies, pepper, butter with a peppery pine after taste.
Zookies’ high starts off with strong (but pleasurable) pressure on the back of the head at the same level as the top of the ears—mirrored in the front around the eyebrows. The effects are heady, introspective, allowing for slow thought and deliberation, relaxed and even keel problem solving, and a general clarity of mind. The body starts off light and floaty—the consumer will feel graceful gliding about one’s own abode. But the effects progressively get heavier eventually lulling the consumer to a blissful slumber.
I recommend Zookies Cookies to both novice and experienced consumers. The heady high allows for great perspective and understanding—it is a thoughtful and positive bud. An excellent step in a novice consumer’s education—and a valuable tool for the experienced. As always, novice users consumers should approach the bud in moderation—especially considering the sedative conclusion of the high.
