From the get-go the Emerald Club’s Mountain Top Mint is impressive. A sparkly, gray green gem with pockets of purple lurking beneath heavy white dusting. The aromas are sweet, earthy, nutty, herby with a bit of gas. The flavor—old school and delicious—mirrors the aroma making a joint hard to put down. The smoke is smooth, easy, rich, flavorful, excellent.
The high starts with an increasingly strong pressure in the head and a release in the body—especially in the buttocks and hips. I found myself giggling and amused, content, self-aware and self-absorbed, and functional despite a complete relaxed body and dreamy state of mind. Indeed, I smoked this bud late at night and thoroughly enjoyed—loved—the effects, but I am keen to see what I can with it during the day.
I highly recommend this bud to myself. I love it and want to try it through different mediums (dry vaping) and at different times. The flavors and aromas are old school and will delight folks that go for skunky, earthy profiles. The bud is also appropriate for both experienced and novice consumers.
