At the outset of legalization Colt 45 was one of the cultivars I was most excited about. Fast forward almost 20 months and Colt 45 is prevalent . . . but for the most part it’s just not that good . . . and in many cases I doubt the buds are actually Colt 45. So, I was super excited when Green Space (a grower I fully trust) sent me their Colt 45—as usual Green Space did not let me down. Their Colt 45 is plump, dense, verdant, sticky, fragrant a pleasure to hold, look at, and breath in. The bud has a classic and alluring sweet sour lemon, pine, and earth scent with flavors of minty herb and sour sweet fruit. These are straight forward and basic flavors and aromas—but they are pure and appreciated.
While the flavor and scent of Green Space’s C45 are very good—its high is excellent with soaring euphoria, heightened senses of taste, smell, music appreciation and feel. But while the senses and brain are taken to another level—the body is fully relaxed, calm, chill, free of the aches, pains and stress of adulthood.
I highly recommend Green Space’s Colt 45 to both novice and experienced consumers. The bud is strong . . . perhaps too strong for more than a few puffs by newbies—but it is a strength that experienced consumers can control. The elevated and very clean high, with the senses awoken and the body fully at ease is a beautiful thing. I would happily come back to this bud.
