Grower: Fire Farms

Rating: 4.5

I have mentioned it before, but there is nothing better than enjoying something for the first time ever. And if there is one grower who does an amazing job introducing new flavors, or at least new combinations of flavors through buds which are yet to be prevalent throughout the market, it is Fire Farms. They have routinely introduced modern flavors and new takes on buds which eventually get picked up by growers throughout the Kingdom. Blue Zushi is an excellent example of this.  This bud breaks out with classic Fire Farms form with sweet, gassy, sexed up body odor funk and a sweeter than sour lime citrus which becomes tarter once ground. The flavor evolves into light berries with a milky, herbal, minty, orange which further burns down into a nutty, cheesy tangerine finish. So fascinating.

Blue Zushi has a pretty balanced high. The bud left me alert, thoughtful, content and appreciative while at the same time chilled out but far from sleepy, unmotivated or stoned. This is definitely a bud that I can work through a day with—and happily so.

I highly recommend Blue Zushi to all consumers. I normally recommend that novice consumers shy away from Fire Farms buds due to their strength. Blue Zushi is not a beginner’s bud, and it does deliver a good dose of medicine. But in moderation, perhaps two to three initial puffs, this may be one bud that novice consumers can approach.
