I’ve written before about different Runtz—but coming back to Canis’s Wild Runtz reinforced the magic that Canis carries out with his buds. Wild Runtz is such an intense bud with a super gassy, pungent sour sweet tropical fruit—with each fruit you can think of identified. Think of a banana, and you can find banana—think of mango, and mango appears—think of pineapple, etc. etc., and it is found in that funky fruity essence. Once the bud is broken up a cardamom pepper spice comes out and then a full on soapy herbal aroma. The flavor comes through with an initial sweet red candy flavor with a very evident herbal soapy funk which grows more intense and further develops anise and spice notes.
I smoked Wild Runtz before my evening shower and while I didn’t struggle to achieve my hygienic goals, it did take me about an hour to complete them. Wild Runtz is strong and will slow everything down considerably. My notes simply state “euphorically stoned while still competent, capable and awake.” Indeed, this bud did not sedate me—but it left me operating in another state with extra gravity.
I highly recommend Wild Runtz to all experienced consumers. Runtz is runtz, and I know a lot of folks go for it. But Wild Runtz is super adult runtz—its not for novices, its not for candy lickers, its for folks who appreciate deeper and complicated flavors and aromas—and a high to slow down the rotation of the earth. Newbie’s, perhaps look elsewhere in these pages for an appropriate bud for you.
