This is an interesting budโa lot of work went into engineering Peach Pound Cake by Fidelโand it is a pretty tasty and solid budโbut it isnโt revolutionary. To their credit, Fire Farms put out a really great bud which tastes like London Pound Cake crossed with a Peach Snapple. I say this as a great compliment as someone who loves both London Pound Cake and Peach Snapple. The bud is old school gassy, yeasty, nutty with an herbal pine aromaโwhen ground a fruity flavor, somewhere between canned apricots and canned peaches comes out. But to its creditโthe aroma is not sugary sweet, but rather tea like (hence the reference to Peach Snapple). The flavor tastes like high end London Pound Cake, earthy, musky, strong and herbal, quite delicious with hints of fruitiness. Enjoyable from start to finish.
Peach Pound Cakes seem starts off strong with a high which gets into the body and relaxes the muscles. I expected to be thrown into a deep stoned state, but instead my mind remained active, engaged, never fading, competent and completely in control but also euphoric. Relaxed body with an effective and happy head.
I highly recommend Peach Pound Cake for any consumer looking for a good quality solid bud. The flavor and aroma are excellent examples of high quality growing of classic flavors plus a fruity touch. The high is enjoyable and perfect for a late afternoon finishing work and moving on to relaxed social matters. If you are a fan of London Pound Cake (I am) you will no doubt enjoy this iteration. Novice consumersโin general itโs a good idea to take Fire Farmโs buds in moderationโthat advice should be consistently followed here.
