Grower: Golden Temple

Rating: 4.5

Glade is unmistakably a Golden Temple bud. Dark green heavily dusted, wispy but a bit more dense than his other buds, with full on stickiness. Its aroma is sweet and skunky, woodsy with a vanilla banana scent lurking in the background. Once ground the bud comes out with an additional herbal sweet Coca Cola essence reminiscent of GT’s “Redwine Bubble Gum”. The flavor is mild and gentle, a banana bubblegum which burns into a more herbal mintiness as the joint carries on.

Similar to Redwine Bubble Gum the high digs in deep while the bud is still being combusted. But I found the high for glade to be a bit more balanced. Heady and contemplative with soaring euphoria while at the same time completely super relaxed, chill but never sleepy. A wonderfully fantastic state to be in.

I highly recommend Glade solely to experienced consumers, though I am not sure it will be available for much longer. Growers are a finicky bunch and I believe that Golden Temple may have other designs for the space and resources currently dedicated to Glade. It has to be said that GT’s buds are so unique that they can only be judged against each other. There is nothing in the market—at least which I have come across—which is comparable. I would urge any consumer serious about cannabis to check GT out—and I would love to see some serious growers compete in this space which is currently completely dominated by GT.
