Grower: Humble Gardens

MFxAMF has been one of my favorite cultivars and grows of 2024. When Humble Gardens sent me another batch to revisit I was psyched. I would have thought my previous review would have been the definitive study—but who am I to turn down such excellence in the form of a Christmas tree sized bud. In my previous review I stressed the old schoolness of this bud. And this is just the case. But what I realized this time around is just how deep these flavors and aromas go. The bud still has a super strong menthol, skunky pine, earthy aroma with some sweet subtle spiced citrus. The aroma is reflected in the flavor with a low down burnt caramel taste and licorice. These tastes and aromas are so deep, so profound, they are indicative of a work of art—a great cultivar grown by a master grower.
MFxAMF’s high is still excellent. I think the flavor and the aroma were both improved and the high remains the same: Euphoric, content and satisfied with life, very lovey dovey, thoughtful and chatty but in a severely slowed down manner. An amazing way to end the day.
As concluded in my previous MFxAMF review: “I highly recommend this MF x AMF to all consumers—the flavor, aroma and incredible high are amazing. If I retired from reviewing—it would definitely be in my regular rotation. It is just that good.” It may be better.
