Grower: Terpie Garden
Rating: 4.6
Terpie Garden is one of the growers that HighThailand has followed and gotten to know on a personal level—one we actively follow and root for. He is always actively experimenting with his grow, and each harvest has significant differences from the previous one. I was super excited to get my hands on his latest harvest and eagerly jumped into his Limelight. This bud is a big beautiful bright green, dusted, with uniform hairs, plump and oh so natural, with a stickiness which stays on the fingers. The aroma is loud and intense, tart and sweet, with layers of sour citrus (lime and orange), melon, guava, and tons of pine. Even my Mom marveled and enjoyed this bud’s essence. The flavor matches the aroma—it would have been a huge let down if it didn’t—with a honey sweetness, tart tropical taffy fruitiness, with a consistently strong pine taste and a smooth herbal finish. Really delicious—and supper interesting as it straddles the flavors of both old school lemon pine but also incorporates a new school candy sweetness to it. I definitely enjoyed it.
The high is energizing while at the same time pain relieving. After an initial buzz and pressure in my head, outside noise and distractions faded away and I was left with a clear focus alongside motivation to move forward. Physically my muscles were relaxed and the midweek pain of a middle-aged father of two melted into temporary oblivion. This bud made me quick to think and slow to move—which is fine by me.
I highly recommend Limelight to all consumers. This bud is special and should be shared with only friends who appreciate fine cannabis. The flavors and aromas are super intense, sweet and tart and really delicious. The high is both utilitarian and relaxing—an amazing combination. I would definitely hit this before a day of filming or writing. The bud is a bit strong—but I think its worth trying for those novice consumers who are brave enough.
