I was rereading the original Candy Crush review from 2023 and was surprised by how consistent this bud is two years later. I took the bud out of its protective and climate controlled storage and put it on my kitchen table still in its packaging with the intent of grinding and rolling a joint. But I quickly got distracted and turned my attention to preparing breakfast for the next day. Mrs. Mendel walked into the apartment shortly thereafter and proclaimed “I know you are here from the smell!” And what a smell it is! Fruity, melon tropical, herbal menthol with a bit of kerosene. The aroma is thick, strong and will perfume every corner of the building. The flavor follows through with good melon, mint diesel taste which is not as clear and strong as the aroma, but still pretty impressive.
The high hits quickly and strongly pulling the consumer into a giddy, euphoric and mischievous state. A state which dips into the stoned but still allows the consumer to move about—it a dopey less than graceful manner. Physically, the bud has a fantastically pleasurable pressure on the head and release in the body.
I highly recommend Candy Crush to experienced consumers. It’s a super fun high and the flavors are a nice mix of fruity and ripe. Because the high is so enjoyable and stupidly social—I am reversing my previous recommendation that novice consumers stay away from this bud. Instead, I would recommend they take one or two puffs and see how it all goes from there.
