The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is making a phone app and a website where people can sign up to grow cannabis and hemp plants, which will no longer be on the list of category 5 drugs, said its deputy secretary-general, Withid Sariddeechaikool.

People who want to grow their own cannabis should sign up through the app. If their request is then approved, they will be able to do so. So far, there is no limit on how many plants a person can grow on their own.

The application โ€œเธ›เธฅเธนเธเธเธฑเธโ€ will be available for both IOS and Android systems. The registration can also proceed on the website http://plookganja.fda.moph.go.th. Starting June 9th, the registration can be done in just 3 simple steps: 1. Register 2. Fill out plantersโ€™ objectives. 3. Receive electronic notification documents.
