Grower: Humble Gardens

Rating: 4.5

I can’t help singing the praises of Humble Gardens. Everything they do is so clean, professional, and natural. They really speak to my preferences when it comes to their growing style. When they pick genetics which match my personally preferences I become as giddy as a school girl. Such was my state of anticipation for Alien Mints—the Gardens did not let me down. This verdant and sticky bud comes out of its packaging with initial minty, nutty aromas with the effervescence of green grapes and a sweet spiced finish. Once ground a tartness of plum mixes with the effervescent grape with mouth watering effects. A dry pull reveals a “nose smell” of mint, rosemary, thyme and spice—foreshadowing the flavor—mirroring what would be an excellent lamb rub. The flavor is delicious, less fruity than the aroma, with strong neo-pine, herbal, mint and spiced notes. Smoking this bud is like taking a trip through some fantastic spiced forest. I love it.

Alien Mints has a soaring euphoric high, a good relaxed body, and a delightfully heightened senses. Everything from food to music just feels and sounds incredible. This is very much a “feel good” bud—incredibly enjoyable—peaceful and happy—and eventually sleepy.

I highly recommend this bud to both novice and experienced cannabis consumers. Everything about this bud is excellent—it may be on the strong side for novice consumers, but one or two puffs should be ok.
