I am always drawn to Alien Mints. It’s hard for me to pass. And when I got a package of several buds from Rach Rollers I could not resist immediately lighting up their super sticky and super loud Alien Mints. The bud comes out screaming of menthol and pine, a bit of sweet spice and for the first time I found tropical elements which reminded me of pineapple. The flavor starts with the strong sweet mint taste of the green translucent hard candies my grandmother used to keep in a glass jar in her apartment on a doily. Then the flavor develops with some mild but complementing spice and a bit of sweet apple. The flavor concludes with that same menthol which came through so loudly in the aroma. Quite delicious.
The high is sleepy and stoned with extreme munchies. A strong full body high which takes away stress, motivation and the will to accomplish anything. A high I love to give myself over to after a long and stressful day.
Alien Mints is still one of my favorite cultivars and Rach Rollers does it justice. I highly recommend it for anyone who is a fan of herbal and minty buds and strong debilitating highs. This is not a bud for novice consumers.
