My Mom was over when I received the latest batch of Fire Farmsโ samplesโso I showed her each one and asked her opinion across the board. She declared that Apple Fritter โreally smells nice. This is the one I would pick.โ Since I am a good son who respects his elders, I dutifully dove into a deep study of this beautiful and wildly natural looking bud. The aromas are super tart and sweet, reminiscent of a sour apple Jolly Rancher, loud and far reaching with supporting wafts of earth and pine. A dry pull reveals a layered fruity โmouth smellโ which includes but goes well beyond apples. While the aroma appealed to my Mom the sweet earthy and woodsy flavors really gets to me. There is a fruitiness in the flavorโand an herbal finish, but those are more accents than leading themes.
The high for me was super engaging, alert, awake, ready to go, perceptive, uplifted with feelings of pleasure in my soul. For the first hour after I burned down I definitely felt capable and able of achieving anything and everything. Within a couple hours I began to slow down and slept deeply and longer than usual (with a few breaks throughout the night for parenting duties).
I highly recommend Apple Fritter to all consumers. It has a nuevo modern fruity candy aroma but with a more neo-classic earthy pine woodsy flavor. Something to please at least two separate camps of cannabis fans. I found the bud really stimulatingโbut I note other folks find it more relaxing. If youโre like me, this will be a utilitarian bud. But most people are not like me. Novice consumersโtake 2-3 puffsโlearn about the aromas and the flavors, take a step back and see where this takes you.
