Bitter Orange started off well for me. The name scared me a bit as I was expecting strong orange terps. But instead I found a mildly aromatic earthy, herbal, spiced bud with just a hint of a citrus note. The flavor was almost identical—a bitter sweet bud—herbal, earthy and with just a enough citrus to be interesting. Initially super pleasant and enjoyable. I wish that flavor was longer lasting—the bud stays optimal for about the first 1/6 of the joint before progressively becoming more bitter and less flavorful.
Bitter Orange has a nicely balanced high. The consumer starts off alert, aware and appreciative of the surroundings and then a slow relaxation goes into effect. For me personally, I would be happy to consume this bud before writing and engaging in routine tasks and work. It has the right balance of switched on head and stress released body to get things done.
I regret smoking my entire Bitter Orange bud in one go. It probably would have been a good dry vaping bud. The initial flavors were quite enjoyable and there is something to this bud—some real potential—I hope to get to try it again.
