It took me a while to understand the name of Cereal Milk. The aromas out of the bag are sweet, a bit sour, with some mild tropical and spiced aromas to it. A dry pull revealed elements of sweet vanilla and cream—and the name began to makes sense. Combustion further reveals the stronger, but smooth, similar flavors of sweet vanilla and cream—pleasant, but not revolutionary. But the flavor continues to develop as the bud burns down, becoming more herbal until the mouth is coated in a delicious mint (slightly spiced) chocolate chip ice cream. What seems boring at first is actually quite developed, deep and flavorful—leaving the consumer wanting more. In fact immediately after smoking the bud I consumed a bar of mint dark chocolate to continue that flavor.
The high immediately goes into what feels like a manageable stoned state. The body and mind seem like they are on their way towards departure from earth—but the feet remain on the ground, the brain though flighty remains engaged, and the mood remains elevated, kind and happy.
I highly recommend Cereal Milk to anyone who enjoys sweet herbal cultivars. This one is really delightful—with a fresh, natural and delicious flavor. The high is excellent, calming and strong enough to be appreciated—but not too strong as to scare away novices (who should always approach cannabis in moderation).
