Grower: Real Terp Boyz
Rating: 4.5
I bounced around all over the place with Cheetah Piss—I did not think I would like it, but I ended up mesmerized by the layers and complexity of this bud. It is for sure superb.Based on this experience and the Gary Payton that I reviewed earlier, it is evident that Real Terps Boyz are serious growers who are adding their own unique and excellent touch to Thailand. When I first opened my bag of Cheetah Piss the only thing I could smell was sweet orange for miles. I was not too excited by this—but figured I’ll persevere and see the bud through. The more I broke the bud down, the more I noticed other elements of pineapple, then lemon squash, then pepper—especially on the dry pull. The flavor developed even more beginning with a butter, pepper, orange, floral and cake taste which completely caught me by surprise. That citrus pepper cake flavor developed with a more peaty and peppery taste at the tip of the tongue and a floral citrus orange on the back. By mid-joint I noted that the bud was constantly changing its flavor, always with a citrus tang to it—until that citrus tang also developed somehow into an herbal menthol. I started the joint suspicious and ended completely enthralled by the flavors and aroma.
The high is excellent as well—starting with a clear, energized and active mind with the negation of stress and anxiety—the bud then dips the body into a slight chill and relaxed mode. Not enough to bring the consumer to a dreamy state, but enough to extend the body into the furniture and continue the profound heady effects. The high then moves into an elated and euphoric state of mind and a further deepening of the relaxed mode, this time reducing pain and relaxing muscles—and eventually leading this consumer to a gentle nap.
I highly recommend Cheetah Piss. The bud was a great and exciting experience from the points of view of flavor and high. Real Terp Boyz hit this one out of the park show casing layer upon layer of complexity to this bud. Experienced consumers will no doubt recognize and appreciate the effort that went into growing this bud—and novice consumers will be treated to a world of excellence which is not overwhelming or frightening.
