Cherry Pop Tart is an enjoyable bud. It was the first I smoked after a quick tour of South Africa—and I must say I was happy to come back and smoke some high quality Thai grown bud after struggling a bit with quality in Johannesburg. But I digress. Cherry Pop Tart has a real red cherry twizzler aroma with some decent has. An aroma which is sweeter than it is sour but does have a nice candy tartness to it. The flavor is super smooth, sweet but not syrupy, slightly creamy like taffy—quite pleasant and consistent for about ¾ of a joint—with a slight minty herbal flavor towards the end. The aroma and flavor themselves are relaxing and enjoyable.
I was surprised by the high which hit me with tingling in the body, pleasant pressure around the base of the skull, and a burst of creative energy. I smoked this bud late into the night but was fully motivated to get to work and create and react. This was not necessarily my plan for 11PM at night—and I was actually annoyed by the increase of energy and alertness—but that’s not the bud’s fault. I would happily pick this bud up in the future for some daytime added motivation to get some work done.
I fully recommend Cherry Pop Tart to all consumers looking for an energetic and functional bud. The flavors and aromas are very pleasant, smooth, enjoyable and easy to consume. The energy is tangible, not overwhelming, but real and efficient. Be prepared to get some work done!
