Grower: Fire Farms
Rating: 4.6
After a year of avoiding GG4, it has found me directly and through many of its progeny. After starting with a direct appreciation for that behemoth of a strain from Teera Botanica a couple weeks ago, I think I have finally found peace with GG4’s direct descendent, Fire Farm’s Epoxy Glue. This bud, which will leave your fingers sticking together with resinous finger prints left on anything you touch, has both a verdant and natural look to it while still maintaining Fire Farm’s usual Hollywood sexiness. From a purely aesthetic and subjective point of view, it may be the most attractive of Fire Farm’s buds. The aroma is nostalgic and welcoming: minty and herby at first but with strong lime squash fumes. The smoke is smooth and rich, herby and citrussy and gets into the mind fast.
Epoxy Glue is strong. It gets into the whole head almost immediately with a numbing and spacey effect. It slowly gets into the body and relaxes the body—but not to the extent that it affects the head. Despite its numbing effects, the user can still function and carry out simple tasks. Indeed, I managed to converse with family and friends in two continents and also helped with light tasks and management of personal finances. In fact the numbing effects of Epoxy Glue allowed me to keep my cool and focus while dealing with certain organizational complications in an unfortunate but ultimately resolved situation. In short, Epoxy Glue keeps the user cool and chill, but still capable, while confronting the frustrations of life. For those of us who tend to get hot headed when facing the stupors of bureaucracy, this can be super valuable.
Epoxy Glue is an experienced user’s bud. It is highly recommended for those who already know how to navigate a high and engage life while still enjoying the strong effects of high-quality cannabis. But this bud, like all of Fire Farms buds, is just too strong for novice users.
