Gelato has become such a neo-classic, and the gents over at Sovereign Thailand have really done justice this fragrant bud. Right out of the bag the user is welcomed with a fresh lemon, minty pine and herbal aroma. The taste matches the aroma with strong citrus, barely and herbal tones. For me, these are the flavors and odors I look for in my everyday bud—they are refreshing, clean, natural and so very classic.
This bud’s high is what I would consider medium strength. It is effective but neither so strong that it pulls the body and mind into a different dimension, though so not so gentle as to leave experienced users annoyed or wanting more. This high is indeed very balanced with a relaxing of the body, loosening of the muscles, and a content, relaxing but engaged high in the brain.
I highly recommend Gelato to both experienced and novice users. For me it is a goldilocks bud. It hits all the spots and just lets me relax, chill, reduce stress but keep my brain working. Experienced users will recognize this and will use the bud accordingly. For novice users, I would urge them to try Gelato sparingly, but engage with the high and monitor the high. Understand the nuances and the many different characteristics of Gelato—this clean and moderate high is an excellent stepping stone in your understanding of cannabis.
