Grower and Dispensary: Fire Farms
Rating: 4.6
This bud really hit home. I absolutely loved it and the experience. The rating above is reflective of what I think it deserves from an objective point of view—but from a subjective point of view, as a bud which appeals specifically to me, it deserves an extra tenth of a point. When I learned that Fire Farms was sending me GSC I was pretty excited—a classic bud grown by a superior grower. I was not disappointed, when I unpackaged that bud I knew I had to smoke it immediately and moved it to the top of the queue. The bud is green and super sticky and smells like it looks: piney, spicy, yeasty, earthy and woodsy, herbal, musky and subtly sweet (on a Thai scale 25% instead of 100%). The flavor has a delicious smooth combination of the aroma notes which make the bud taste like some sort of exotic cookie, sweet—but not overly sweet—with savory accents of pine, herbs and spice.
The high is amazing—euphoric, uplifting, social but at the same time quiet with a reflective and profound internalization of thoughts while digesting everything around—music lands on another level. I smoked this bud on the one-year anniversary (lunar calendar) of my father’s passing and my thoughts turned to him. While posting the bud in a story on IG I landed on the song Hello It’ Me by Todd Rundgren. I posted and then listened to the song multiple times, enjoying the high, reminiscing fondly and warmly about by Dad. I received a message from Jai of Fire Farms, asking me how I liked the bud and telling me that my post and song made him think of his father and now he was listening to Hello It’s Me on repeat. Absolute magic. We chatted and discussed that there is a universal energy which brings kindred souls together. GSC definitely illuminated this.
I highly recommend Fire Farm’s GSC for all consumers. Its just so very special—I would urge all consumers (novice ones in moderation) to come to their own conclusions.
