Dispensary: Chopaka Dispensary
Rating: 4.3 leaves
I would like to start this review off with an apology to the good people of Chopaka Dispensary. The Green Crack reviewed in this article was the first cannabis I purchased after legalization. It sat (properly) stored for almost three months before I sampled the buds. In short, this is both a solid strain and a quality bud. I should have tried it earlier.
The buds of Chopakaโs Green Crack are bright green, hairy, mildly dense and fluffy, almost like a cartoon rendition of what cannabis should look like. This is a very pretty bud. The odor is sweet, pleasant and earthy. The flavor, also pleasant, has a mild fruity spicy start and menthol finish.
There is no doubt that Green Crack is a sativa, but calling it crack is a disservice. Users will feel clear, alert, competent, happy, thoughtful but also chill and laid back. At some point I thought that it had improved my eyesight. Truth be told, I have never tried crack, but I do not believe that it has the same effects. I smoked Green Crack in the evening and enjoyed listening to music and conversing with my wife (about how much I was enjoying the strain). I was chill and relaxed and went to bed, only to lie awake for quite some time organizing the thoughts of my day.
Green Crack will be appreciated by experienced users. It is a very solid sativa strain with no down side. The strain is perfect for working on a creative project which requires a focused but relaxed mood. It is an enjoyable productive strain and users can expect to be chill but engaged. Novice users who are looking to experience a functional high should try Green Crack in low doses as part of their cannabis education.
A word of warning, I have come across and tried quite a bit of the lower quality, and very cheap, Green Crack available in the market. The cheaper Green Crack is fine for its value and I am sure I will smoke it again, but it is not akin to the high quality bud reviewed here.
