Macmosa calls for attention immediately upon unpackaging with a loud and sour grapefruit cry which is impossible to ignore. Once ground those grapefruit aromas develop into with more lemon and herbal notes. Still very loud and definitely enticing. The flavor is quite excellent with that initial grapefruit essence represented strongly in the initial tastes with cardamom spiced, earthy/nutty and herbal notes quickly developing as the bud burns down. I really enjoyed the play of sour citrus, nuts, herbs and spices—truly delicious and balanced flavors.
The high begins engaged, thoughtful, and profound. A good cerebral bud. But, at about the time my joint was 2/3 done that high started getting into my body—slowly and then quickly with pleasure and euphoria which grew as time passed until I passed into a little nap. I woke up after an hour or so energized and ready to take on all that I missed while asleep.
I highly recommend Macmosa to all consumers. The flavors, aromas and high all hit an excellent level of quality which makes it a great experience from unpackaging to flicking the last ash of the joint. The bud is somewhat strong for novice consumers—they should approach the bud in moderation as the high is quite dynamic.
