The new wave of Jealousy derived cultivars is a trend I full support. Firefarms hit Jealousy out of the park, then Permanent Marker, and now they have put forth an absolute treat Magic Marker. This purple based, wildly orange hair covered bud (once pinched and then ground) is super gassy, pungent, with menthol and lime citrus notes. Those dark and dank aromas are fully replicated in the rich and smooth smoke and taste of Magic Marker with added herbal and Christmas spiced notes. These are adult flavors and aromas which are still modern in a very non-annoying way. Its as if a generation of candy makers decided to make some adjustments that will survive the test of time.
The high is excellent and profound, leaving the mind moving slowly, but surely and contently intact—at the same time the high relaxes and puts the body completely at ease. Magic Marker hits that beautiful spot of leaving the body void of pain and stress while keeping the mind at work processing, digesting, working through what needs to be done—and most importantly keeping everything sabai sabai.
I highly recommend Magic Marker to all experienced consumers. The flavors, the aromas, and the high are on par with the best Jealousy progeny out there and must be experienced. For novice consumers—Magic Marker is very strong—too strong for newbies—but it is so wonderful. Take one short puff—read a book or watch TV or talk to a friend for about 20 minutes. If you feel that is enough, stop there, if you are open for more, take one more puff. Keep a couch or bed handy.
