If there is a luxury category of cannabis in Thailand, Canis Major wholly dominates that sector. Mellowz, a super sticky and dank bud is a thing to be treasured and protected. It has unworldly sweet gassy vapors of lemon citrus icing, sharp tropical fruit notes all over a more gentle and milky caramel aroma. The flavor reminds me most of guarana—that candy sweet Brazilian fruit—with additional layers of vanilla, bubble gum and finishing with an herbal flavor similar to a gentle anise. These are vibrant and bright flavors and aromas—fitting for a high end bakery—clearly and very evidently the product of years of trial and error, and pure talent and relentless focus.
The high is focused—with the brain active, breaking things down, digesting, and creating thoughts and hypothetical scenarios. At the same time it is a slowed down, chill and relaxed bud—good for creative and constructive socialization—but not aggressive. It is uplifting and analytical but also neither motivating nor debilitating. A goldilocks bud for laid back interaction and relaxed but effective work.
I highly recommend Mellowz to all consumers. Experienced consumers will know they have something rare and special in their hands and will treasure this bud. Novice consumers will experience a level of cannabis which is hard to emulate—but will give perspective on the levels of quality out there. Canis is a master of what he does—get to know his buds—but also get to know his process to fully appreciate the time, sweat, thought, science and art which goes into his buds.
