Thai Stick’s Mellowz is a solid and fully enjoyable bud. My notes are minimal as I spent most of my time enjoying the cleanliness and clear aromas and flavors. The aroma starts with a vanilla sweet citrus which reveals itself with a good grapefruit “mouth smell” on the dry pull. The flavor has a “Starbucks” touch to it with sweet caramel vanilla and sour citrus tastes.
This is the second Thai Stick bud I have tried from this harvest and similar to the first (Da Funk) the strength completely caught me off guard. I have a high tolerance and generally will smoke a pretty fat joint at the end of the day to capture flavors and get appropriately elevated. Within a third of my joint I was feeling deeply chill, laid back, with my mind thinking about new ventures and the adventures of social media. The second third of the bud knocked me out and left me in a bit of a stupor which I felt the next morning.
I recommend Mellowz to consumers who love sweet vanilla and citrus buds. These flavors are clean and pure and very pleasant, especially after a meal. The bud is strong, and even experienced consumers will only need a few puffs to get to a new state of mind. I would caution novice consumers to be wary of the strength and take no more that two puffs before reevaluating their situation.
I highly recommend Mellowz to consumers. The bud is just refreshing, flavorful, aromatic and the high is perfectly chill without a knockout. In a previous review I called it a luxurious bud, and I still feel the same way. It is a bud to be treasured and not to take for granted.
