Let me start with the conclusion on this one. I highly recommend Miami Mami to both experienced and novice consumers. When I first opened the packaging I did not think I would be writing these words. My first reaction was, “ok—another orange cultivar”, as the bud has a tangerine and honey suckle sweet aroma which then shows a good gassiness when ground. Once combusted the initial flavor is pure sweet orange, a taste which initially annoyed me, but which developed delicate herbal nuances which make the bud so much more interesting than its dominant orange flavor. So much so that I was profoundly sorry to finish my bud. The delicate nature and nuances of flavors is why I enjoy Tropical Thunder’s buds so much—no matter what the cultivar, they seem to pull out notes in a way which adds unexpected new levels to flavors.
The high put me in a good mood with an eagerness to engage my brain, develop, create, think and soak up knowledge. I was not necessarily in the mood to socialize, but rather to listen to and interpret others and then draw conclusions.
As first mentioned, this is an great bud I highly recommend.
