Tropical Thunder’s Mimozz is a bud full of personality. The aromas come out with a strong sweet citrus tangerine which is curbed by a sour buttermilk note. Once ground the bud becomes more sweet with a tropical fruit essence but also a ripe funk. A dry pull reveals incredible “mouth smells” of canned fruits, honey and kerosene. That mouth smell is picked up well in the flavor which is strong with tangerine, honey and kerosene and just a touch of grenadine. For taste and aroma I find Tropical Thunder’s Mimozz superior to any Trop Cherry which I have come across—and which I generally find boring.
The high begins slowly first with immediate stress reduction, but with a clear and functional mind. But the high becomes progressively more chill, laid back, relaxed with the brain and body mercifully slowing down after the effects of a long day. This is for sure a therapeutic bud—one to heal the body and soul.
I highly recommend Tropical Thunder’s Mimozz to all consumers. I am not a big fan of orange flavored cultivars—but this bud has so much added personality which heighten the aromas and tastes and make it a bud which everyone should experience. The effects are mild enough to be welcoming to novice consumers but still profound enough to be enjoyed by experienced ones. A great and gentle way to chill out at the end of the day.
