Anyone who reads this page regularly knows that I am a lightweight for edibles and that I only reluctantly consume them. But I love dark chocolate and I love cannabis and couldn’t resist trying a square, 6mg THC and CBD, of the Blessed chocolate bar I received from them. The flavor has a wonderfully bitter sweet (without an excess of sugar) taste, with herbal hints of mint and cannabis, and the base of a lasting rich unadulterated chocolate.
If this chocolate was not medicated, I would definitely eat a bar a day. But the chocolate is medicated, and 6mg is the right dose for me. The first time I tried a square was late night in December—I ate a square and calmly and happily chatted away with Mrs. Mendel, chilled and watched TV and just felt super content before nodding off to sleep. Mrs. Mendel woke me up a couple hours later to explain that she thought she was going into labor. Indeed, she was and we made our way to the hospital. Mrs. Mendel handled the pain and process of child birth while I reveled, marveled and contemplated the miracle of bringing another life into this world as I chatted with an increasingly annoyed Mrs. Mendel and the doctors (and volunteered to assist as necessary).
The short version of this review, is that the high off of a 6mg square is beautifully manageable, uplifting, chatty and happy and will ease even the most stressful of situations. I have since taken a square before otherwise mundane events and have thoroughly enjoyed myself. I highly recommend Blessed to anyone who may feel a bit squeamish about edibles—one square is perfect and manageable for this light weight.
