Grower: Arasaka 420

Arasaka 420 is new to these pages. I really love to see the progression and development of the growers who regularly appear in my reviews and I enjoy the relationship and familiarity. Smoking a new bud from an unknown grower is a bit like going on a blind date and I get a similar feeling of trepidation when a new grower enters my life. Arasaka 420 entered my life with a solitaire Octane 91 bud. I am happy to report that our blind date was at the very least an amazing one night stand (though I hope for repeat performances with Arasaka’s other buds). Octane 91 is a beauty of a bud with multiple hues of green covered in crystally dust, fuzz and hairs. The bud is springy and sticky, rich with strong delicious odors and tastes of gas, pine, menthol and sweet earth. The smoke burns smooth and lush leaving behind a clean white ash. It is clear that Arasaka is either a very talented and meticulous grower, or just super lucky.
Octane 91 has a dreamy, positive, and profound high which starts in the head and spreads through the entire body leaving the user happy, hungry, and loving life. The high is appropriate for both experienced and novice users—though I would urge novice users to start with two puffs before moving on. Experienced users, will know what to do with this excellent and high quality bud. Octane 91 is highly recommended.
