4/20 called for a special bud and I followed my nose to identify this one. With a strong sweet, tart and spiced cherry aroma, Peach Maraschino has an old time candy store smell. The taste does not disappoint with a sweet, earthy forest berry flavor and minty pine finish. A delicious and refreshing candy flavored bud. The bud itself is long, dense, and beautifully cured—with a bright green base flecked with purples and orange hairs.
This bud is strong—one of the strongest I have had in a very long time (note: because of the seductive taste and aroma I smoked an enormous joint in one sitting). The high hits the head with a dreamy and floating feeling, almost swimming in the ether. I became a bit giggly once I realized how strong the high was and what was in front of me. What was in front of me was a super relaxed, almost happily paralyzed body high. I was thoroughly stoned. I did my best to write my notes in my trusty notebook, flossed, brushed and then climbed into bed in a state of bliss.
Peach Maraschino is not for novice users—it is way too strong. On the other hand, it is a fun blissful heavy hitter which will leave experienced users in a dreamy state of happiness and inevitable sleep. This is a bud I will save for those times I want to sleep away to outer space.
