I had a good idea what I was getting into with Humble Garden’s Permanent Gas—and intentionally decided to double up a smoke the same grower two nights in a row. When the mood and the bud match it’s something magical—and Permanent Gas was my dank sorcerer. This super sticky exudes pure petrol fumes with the added sweet aroma of overly ripe berries in deep fermentation, the aura of a chlorinated indoor pool and a tinge of earth in the grind. The flavor is full octane from start to finish, pure petrol plus the sweet grape taste of Flintstone vitamins with a secondary taste of gas and herbs in the exhale. Beautiful and seemingly flammable.
The high comes on with an immediate elated sense of satisfaction, peace, relaxation in both the body and the head. The senses are engaged with the body obeying the brain in delivering music, food, dance—whatever it may demand. But when the brain stops demanding—the body melts into the furniture pulling the mind into slumber.
I highly recommend Permanent Gas to myself. Humble Farms took a bud which I really enjoyed the first time around and somehow improved upon it. The bud is too strong for novice consumers—both in the high and probably in the flavor. But for me it is a work of beauty—a bud to power me into the late evening and then into my dreams. Right time and place . . . right bud and person . . . on that particular magical night it was the perfect fit—I’m not sure I want to share it with the rest of the world.
