There is something special about a shop which also grows its own bud. Cannabis Khao Yai proudly presented Platinum Cookies to me on my way out of Pak Chong and I can confirm that it is evidence of their fine ability to cultivate cannabis.
The buds are very dense, heavily dusted giving it a pale and almost grey green hue. Platinum Cookies has a mildly sweet smell—almost like old candy, with fruity tinges and a hint of spiciness. The taste, when vaped, is fresh, piney, and clean.
An immediate pressure affects the head but recedes quickly. Users will first feel alert, focused, and aware. However, this alertness and focus fades slightly, as the body becomes more and more relaxed, and the couch begins to beckon. Feelings of relaxation grow stronger—but so do euphoria—and the user will become a happy, sleepy patient slowly and gently stoned.
Platinum Cookies does not disable its user, but it does gently sedate or at the very least encourage sleep. It is a happy, feel-good strain, one that I would recommend to experienced users looking for a pleasant and gentle way to end the day. The bud is appropriate for novice users, but they should be prepared to conclude their evenings in bed, happily asleep.
