Grower: Fire Farms

Rating: 4.5

It took me some time to warm up to Purple Kush—but at the end of my experience I was fully on fire with Fire Farm’s bud. The bud is beautiful—which is to be expected from Fire Farms: Large dusted dark green and hiding purple buds with orange hairs almost uniformly dispersed. The bud is immediately fragrant out of its packaging, but the real identifiable aromas come through after the bud is broken down. Strong natural aromas of tart sweet lemon lime citrus, pine and earth. Aromas which go from strong to loud once ground. The flavor is solid, consistent and pure, sweet earthy, piney and peppery—tasty from the first puff through the last.

But despite the very good aroma and flavor—the high is where Purple Kush really shines. Immediate euphoria and a relaxed and calm state. The mind starts out incredibly stimulated, with creative and active thoughts, motivation, eagerness to make and produce (and a hunger for life and food). But Purple Kush is a creeper and its initial burst of creative energy transforms first into an incredible soaring euphoria but then progressively get more chill, content, satisfied, and sleepy.

I highly recommend Purple Kush to all consumers. The flavors and aromas are solid and will be appreciated by experienced consumers and will be a good, clean and natural, high quality introduction for novice consumers. But the fun in this bud lies in its amazing high, creativity, soaring euphoria and gentle sedative effect (newbies as always, come to this bud in moderation).
