Red Velvet opens with an immediate concentrated aroma of red cough syrup—thick and strong with sweet berry and petrol fumes. Those fumes mix nicely with an earthy barely and chocolate aroma. The aroma is matched by the flavor with added herbal and mint notes which complement the rich sweet and hoppy taste.
The high is super chill and comforting, like a warm blanket on a chilly night, getting deep into the body but also alleviating stress and allowing some slow unambitious thought. Super enjoyable—super relaxed—and super appropriate for the end of a rough day.
I highly recommend Red Velvet to experienced consumers who are looking for a solitaire and good feeling bud. The bud is delicious and will gently put the user at ease and at peace. The bud may be appropriate for novice consumers in small doses, at home or close to a couch to chill and relax for a good few hours.
