Grower: Eighty Six Cannabis Co.

Rating: 4.1

I have to give it to Eighty Six Cannabis. They go out of their way to grow and introduce strains which are not generally available or known about in Thailand. Rocu Cucu is one of those strains. This very citrussy, lemony and woody pine scented bud is a plush green and plump. It burns with a strong orange, funky, gassy and woody flavor, which leaves a pleasant aftertaste. The lemon scent and orange flavor are not your typical citrussy elements which are encountered in cannabis. In both cases this citrusness is more mature, very evident, but belonging more deep in a forest than in a grove.

Rocu Cucu comes on heavy and initially gets deep into the head. It has a content dreaminess which can compliment abstract creativityโ€”however, I do not believe it would work well with a more focused type of work. It is appropriate for high level broad ideasโ€”general contemplation of lifeโ€”but poor for micro focused analysis. The bud does eventually slip into the body and become more relaxedโ€”but never a sedative.

It has been about 12 hours since I smoked this budโ€”and I still have not come to a final conclusion on the best way to utilize this bud. It is different, which is good. It is mature, which is interesting . It has a chilling and euphoric effectโ€”but does not have a soaring high. It can be productiveโ€”but is still limited to abstract thought. I leave it to you, dear reader, to come to your own conclusion. I may have to try it
