On this night the nose chose Ruby Runtz and the eyes were in full agreement. This deep sticky purple bud emits a strong gassy grape syrupy odor. Once ground the bud the essence of grapes is met with additional dark berries. The flavor is of grape soda with almost chemical fumes akin to chlorine. A strange description—but strangely delicious and enjoyable at the same time.
Ruby Runtz is super strong and debilitating. The body goes into a full relaxed mode with muscles and pain melting away. I sat on my balcony unable to move for a good . . . I’m actually not sure how long I sat out there . . . but I was locked in place for quite some time. The bud is so strong that I almost combusted and consumed a third of my J before I fell into that full on stupor.
I highly recommend Ruby Runtz to experienced consumers—especially those who love chemically fruity flavors. The high is much too strong for novice consumers, but it will be appreciated (and handled properly) by consumers who know when they have to roll with the punches and give up for the rest of the night.
