Slow’n Sweet is a very interesting bud. It starts off with an underwhelming whimper. A pleasantly clean mild sweet pine with tinges of citrus. Enjoyable, but neither novel nor extraordinary. Grinding the bud reveals a gentle sweet and floral soapy aroma. That floral soapy aroma comes through in the flavor with a strength which caught me by surprise given the gentle aromas. Slow’n Sweet is amongst the soapiest tasting buds I have come across—the floral notes eventually transform to a very clean herbal coating of the mouth, with notes of spice, which long outlasts the conclusion of the joint. These are not flavors that I am normally drawn to—but I nonetheless was fascinated by them and enjoyed the experience.
Slow’n Sweet has perhaps the best high I have come across in the last couple of months. This is a truly balanced bud which stimulates the mind and arouses the senses while also relaxing the body with an evident tingling throughout, in particular in the neck, shoulders, legs and buttocks. The bud is very euphoric and may inspire creativity—though I also felt like I came close to flirting with anxiety at a couple points. Somehow coming close to (but never entering) the realm of anxiety added to the excitement of the high.
I highly recommend this bud to experienced consumers. The high is excellent, I have a hard time remembering a better one. The flavors are super interesting—not necessarily the ones I am drawn to, but worth experiencing. This is a pretty sophisticated bud, one that any experience consumer will appreciate and value. At the same time the bud may be too complicated for novice consumers to understand and process—indeed the high may be too intense for beginners.
