Strawberry Cough was a pre-legalization go to of mine for day time and use with elders. I was pretty psyched to see that Fat Bud’s was stocking his shelf with it and got my hands on some and quickly put it into action at an unexpected wedding sandwiched between funerals (funeral in the morning and evening and wedding at midday).
Fat Bud’s Strawberry Cough matches the classic bud’s characteristics with a sweet citrus berry candylike odor and flavor. Strawberry Cough is also known for making its users cough. I have never found the bud to be particularly harsh, and I still don’t. In fact, I find that Strawberry Cough is smooth and enjoy the smoke. Perhaps this says something about me rather than about the bud. Remember, dear reader, the effects of cannabis are subjective.
Strawberry Cough is a strong sativa, and indeed all the effects are felt in the head with little felt in the body. Users will note that time seems to slow down, things become clearer, the complicated becomes simple and the truth more evident. In my case, I was entertaining the usual set of questions posed to a farang at a wedding with complete honesty—even commenting on the appropriateness of the questions posed. Honesty may not always be the best policy at weddings—but it is inevitable on Strawberry Cough.
I highly recommend Strawberry Cough to experienced users. It is another roll player in the tool box. One to be applied specifically for one purpose and one purpose alone. For me that purpose is to make formal events, meals, occasions more bearable. I do not think Strawberry Cough is appropriate for novice users—it is to narrow in its purpose—and users must understand the wider world of cannabis before appreciating this strain.
